The Opportunity
We have an immediate 2-month, full-time temporary opportunity to join our client's busy Human Resources team as Principal Human Resources Advisor (AO7). This is a broad People and Safety role, with a focus on workforce planning, employee relations, role design, recruitment, health and safety and business capability.
Your experience:
Ideally, we are looking for a proven, experienced and dedicated HR practitioner that has:
- A broad HR skillset to confidently and effectively partner across the business, providing a wide range of HR and safety related advice and support
- Strategic and operational HR expertise with the flexibility to switch and adapt as work priorities change
- Experience managing sensitive HR related issues including performance and disciplinary matters, complaints, reviews and appeals
- The ability to analyse and interpret workforce trends, metrics and data and develop high-level written communications including briefs and policies
- Sophisticated communications with the ability to engage at all levels and motivation and drive to provide viable HR options and solutions
- Experience working in a Queensland government department or statutory body would be advantageous.
Remuneration and Hybrid Options
Remuneration is in the range of $85 - $91.00 per hour plus super. Hybrid working is negotiable (3 days in the office and up to 2 days WFH).
