The Opportunity

Projects, communications and engagement your passion? We have an immediate temporary position available to work for one of our highly valued Queensland Government clients, based in Brisbane, CBD. 

Reporting to the Project Director and working within a small, professional and dedicated team, this role will draw upon your proven communications, stakeholder engagement, projects, change and analysis skills to support operational readiness for a large financial systems modernisation project. 

This contract is for approximately 9 months. 

If you are available immediately and have current/prior experience supporting change readiness we would love to hear from you. 

Applicants with experience in finance/business systems or process modernisation projects would be highly regarded as would a general appreciation/understanding of the finance function.     

Your experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the change management cycle and process, including project governance and communication strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing transition plans ensuring alignment to project milestones, objectives and timelines, including identifying and assessing change impacts resulting from project implementation.
  • Proven communications and engagement capabilities acting as a conduit between the project team, end-users and management, ensuring all stakeholders are kept well informed are adequately trained and operationally ready, prior to the system upgrade.
  • Superior analysis skills required to interpret data to support the Project Manager and Project Director, including identifying, evaluating and reporting any areas of concern or risk that could impact upon project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Sophisticated verbal and written communications, including regularly updating the business via newsletters, SharePoint updates and discussion papers. 

Remuneration and Hybrid Options 

Remuneration is in the range of $76.00 - $94.00 per hour plus super, dependent on experience. 

Our client supports a hybrid working environment.
